Not many but I think it's a brilliant film (even with the low budget) and the relationship shown between Holmes and Watson is fantastically played!
GDL is brilliant as usual!

Netflix is a movie rental service. I just went there and they have the DVD. I just put in to the top of my list - now I just have to finish watching the disc I have at home already!

I used Netflix also. I agree with your review. I thought some of it was a tiny bit over the top but it was fun and the relationship between Holmes and Watson made the film. The scene where they're having breakfast was really cute. I'll watch anything with GDL in a waistcoat (alright I don't even need the waistcoat...) but I found myself enjoying the movie. It won't win any Oscars but for a movie that I think was shot in 14 days, it's quite good.
I wonder if this will prompt any timey wimey Jack/Watson fic? Oooh or Watson/Jack/Ianto fic!

I really liked it -- In fact, it was much better than I was expecting. I thought it would be a more typical low-budget film and good for a few laughs, but it was really quite clever. I too loved the relationship between Holmes and Watson ^_^
